Chris Hamlett - Managing Director
Chris utilises over 22 years’ experience in the construction industry, starting as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, he graduated from Staffordshire University in 2001 with a Degree in Quantity Surveying. After working on the Client side for 3 years, Chris decided to transfer to Principal Contractor. After 6 years Chris had worked his way up to Commercial Management, becoming responsible for the Northwest Region. From being Head Boy at Nursery, doing his six times table before Primary, starting his own business at sixteen selling doughnuts at various music festivals, Chris is now a professionally qualified, experienced Managing Director. Owning his own business within the construction industry for several years, he now oversees Armstrong Projects and his development company Showhouse Homes. Chris enjoys playing football, being creative, socialising and is known to cause trouble around the office with his mischievous sense of humour. Chris is also known to perform a great rendition of Orville the duck’s “I Wish I Could Fly”

Chris Greenall - Operations Director
Chris has over 37 years’ experience within the construction industry, specialising in various sectors within a senior management position. After receiving his HNC in Building and Civils at college, he started at a Building and Civil Engineering company as a site engineer and Assistant Project Manager. It wasn’t long before Chris was promoted to Contracts Manager, prior to becoming Construction Director for the Blue-Chip Sector. Chris then decided to move to the new build housing and apartment sector working in central London which consisted of major façade retention works and lowering existing basements to create habitable areas, staying for approximately 7 years. Chris then transitioned to the retail, working with the likes of Morrisons and Lidl, along with small retail parks and car show rooms country wide, staying within this sector for 12 years. Chris oversees all our projects, operational and site teams, he is the fount of all knowledge and his highly respected both internal and external. We are convinced Chris lives at work, he is the first in and last out. However, when he does decide to go home, he enjoys spending time with his family and getting out on his bike.

Declan Rhodes - Commercial Manager
Declan has worked within the construction industry for over 14 years, starting with his NVQ Level 2 in roofing and cladding, he then completed his HNC in Building and Surveying before starting as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor in 2012. After finding his passion to save money, he then completed his BSc Honours Degree in Quantity Surveying. Within the business Declan operates the commercial team ensuring all budgets are met to our clients’ requirements. Outside of work Declan can be found exploring nature, socialising with friends and has an obsession for motorbikes.

Daniel Felstead - Contracts Manager
Dan has over 27 years’ experience within the construction industry, working in the UK and overseas. After completing his NVQ3 in C&G Joinery and Advanced Crafts at college, he moved to Germany, working on the tools. Shortly after, Dan was promoted to supervisor due to quickly picking up the German Language. After 5 years, he then decided to move to Sydney, Australia, working back on the tools for a while until he was again, promoted to a management position due to his previous experience. Moving back to the UK, Dan started working for a fit-out company, working within the retail sector country wide as a Site Agent. Throughout his career in the construction industry, Dan has worked his way up to Contracts Management, completing his NVQ6 and Prince 2 Practitioner. Dan is responsible for several of our larger schemes and reports directly into our directors. We will let you decide Dans other profession outside of work with his hobbies of Krav Maga, Jeet Kune Do and Flying Helicopters. Other than that, you will find Dan managing his own properties, socialising, and walking his two chihuahuas. Interesting fact: In a previous life, Dan has popped up in various TV shows and Movies and was a club DJ for 20 years.

Sam Adamson - Contracts Manager
Sam has worked within the construction industry for 14 years. After leaving high school Sam was offered an apprenticeship in plastering, where he completed his NVQ Level 1 to 3. After 6 years working onsite on various new build and refurbishment projects, he was promoted internally to an office-based role undertaking a hybrid Quantity Surveyor / Project Manager position, where he gained his HNC in Construction and the Built Environment, Level 2 in AutoCAD and a great deal of experience. Sam is responsible for our social housing projects, managing the function of the operational and site team. Outside of work Sam enjoys spending time with his family and socialising. Sam’s claim to fame is being approached by producers of Love Island whilst socialising in a bar in Manchester, to audition for Love Island 2020.
